Real Wedding: Allie and Dan’s Special Day at Pelican Hill

This wedding was so spectacular! Allie and Dan tied the knot as the sun set on this beautiful and warm day in Newport Beach. Their romantic and sweet wedding matched their beautiful personalities so well.

In order to truly embrace the natural beauty that was Pelican Hill‘s rotunda and the Newport Coast, the ceremony featured very romantic florals intertwined with coastal driftwood.

Allie’s beautiful bouquet was soft and romantic with just enough greenery to maintain a very “organic” feel. We used gorgeous green eyed beauty garden roses surrounded by both white and pink garden roses. Then, we mixed in sprigs of maiden hair fern and pink astilbe.

Be unafraid to place a special emphasis on the things that you and your parter care about. Allie and Dan chose to focus on destinations and travel, and everything in their wedding- from their unique stationary to their custom escort card table- incorporated this perfectly.

Chandeliers always make us smile here at SYED because the possibilities are endless! We covered these chandeliers with a beautiful garland of greenery and added in bunches of lush white hydrangea and pink roses. To tie the florals to the rest of the centerpieces we hung dozens of candlelight glass orbs.

As always, we love our tall and lush crescent shaped centerpieces. The florals matched the ceremony and brought a very romantic and garden-y feel to the ballroom. Our tall and long centerpieces showcased dozens of glass orbs strung from lush greenery. At eye level, coordinating florals were dispersed among driftwood and white taper candles. Also, check out our awesome sweetheart table chair treatments! The lace, maiden hair, and antique horseshoes brought personality to Allie and Dan’s seats. This beautiful event still continues to make all of us smile- and want to travel!
