Zoe and Lexi’s mitzvah resembled a beautiful Yosemite campground beneath a glimmering sky of stars.
One of our favorite components of mitzvahs is the creativity! Most of our mitzvahs include very creative themes, and this event did not disappoint. Jeannie at Details Details always has such an amazing creative vision and we love working with her to make magic come true!
At it’s most basic level, the event was to bring the wilderness inside. To do this, we called up our friends at Jackson Shrub who always know how to do this to perfection. We brought in shrubs and trees both large and small to intermingle with our custom wooden props and backdrops.
Florals were very organic in order to recreate what one would hope to find in the wilderness. We used our large lanterns with tall pillar candles and petite votives to complement the designs.
Just look at that starry night! Gorgeous! AV Irvine provided the perfect venue for the lighting and tree height and the floorspace was open enough that we had tons of room to work with.
We used a beautiful blue velvet linen from Luxe Linen which complemented the vibrant colors in the arrangements well!
Escort cards were displayed on one of our custom backdrops with repurposed wood. Smilax was draped across the top and down the side while various greenery and lanterns sat scattered below.
