Essentials for an Event Crew Member

Greetings friends! My name is Jeany (with a “Y”) and I am so pleased to be one of the newest team members of Shawna Yamamoto Event Design (SYED). I am fairly new to the industry of Floral and Event Design so Shawna thought it would be a great idea to share my growth, insights, and experience with those that are genuinely interested in joining the Industry. It is an honor to be here and I hope to bring forth some useful information! During my journey, I have been able to gather some key items I must have with me while I setup events. Event setups are when a crew goes out to a venue to create a beautiful space… for a day. One can think of it as an empty room which needs to be decorated with lights, furniture, tables, (and of course) flowers and more. I’m sure you get the point.
